This is now one of my favorite books on Java which I am probably going to read again just to be sure I have soaked up as much information as I can. Powerful programming languages are nothing but mode of giving strong web development skills to developers for developing websites. ThreadSafe and NotThreadSafe are described in Java Concurrency in Practice, and CheckThread enforces the same semantics that book defines. I'm reading an excellent book on concurrency called Java Concurrency in Practice by Brian Goetz. I recently read Java Concurrency in Practice by Brian Goetz. Bill Pugh once wrote that Reference.referent should be volatile to prevent a data race, but jdk1.6 source shows it is not. The memory model docs and Java Concurrency in Practice (Brian Goetz, et al) are silent on this. Every Java programmer must read it.
